The 2008 Commodore's Icicle Cruise took place on Saturday, 2nd February, sailing from the NCCC Club House to Adlington. True to the occasion it was a cold but bright day with patches of ice still floating on the water. Lunch consisted of a BBQ held on the towpath and was much appreciated by all.
Returning to the Club by 4.30pm, afternoon lunch was provided by way of a Hot-Pot in readiness for the Race-Night which took place in the Club House later that evening, raising funds for the NCCC. |
