Boats For Sale.

We are not a commercial sales agent for any boats and take no brokerage for any member's boat sold from the club premises. However, we are happy to allow members to include in our web site details of their boats which are available for private sale. Fit Out:-

Commissioned by its current owner in 1991, steelwork by Chappell & Wright and fitted out by Braidbar Boats. Boat Safety Certificate to 2005, 1.8 Thorneycroft/BMC diesel engine with twin alternators and linked to a PRM 160 gearbox located under the helmsman's deck.

Although a trad stern, the craft has a large deck with seats. A bow tonneau cover has recently been fitted.

Carpeted throughout, sides floor to gunwhale finished in ash faced ply panelling. Cabin Sides to deckhead in quality pine T & G. The deckhead is lined with ash faced ply contrasting hardwood trim. High quality throughout.

 

Equipment:-

Vetus bow-thrusters, pump-out w.c. and Porta Potti. Paloma water heater, Kabola Diesel stove feeding two radiators.

Engine:-

Thorneycroft/BMC 1.8 Diesel engine with twin alternators with a PRM 160 gearbox and flexible coupling driving a 18x12 propeller positioned below the helmsman's deck.

Electrical & Safety Equipment:-

12 volt system throughout the boat supplied by 1 starter battery a 3 domestic batteries all with 125Ah ratings and charged by twin engine driven alternators one of which is dedicated to the starter and the other to the domestic batteries. There is also adequate space for additional electrical equipment if required.

Water System:-

Integral 140 gallon (approx) water tank with maintenace access panel in the bow deck feeding the galley and bathroom. Hot water is provided by the Paloma gas water heater or then engine fed calorifier.

Domestic Equipment:-

The galley benefits from having a good range of base units and drawers, stainless steel sink and drainer; Electrolux RM2267 gas/12V/240V fridge with freezer compartment; Leisure Vanette 52 freestanding cooker with separate grill and 4 gas burners.

Storage:-

Foredeck storage locker (starboard side for bow-thruster batteries). The lounge has 2 corner cabinets and under-seat storage. the galley has ample drawers and cupboards as well as display shelves. A large wardrobe/airing cupboard is located along the corridor. A vanity unit and overhead locker in the bathroom. the aft cabin benefits from a further large wardobe and a w.c./storeroom.

Heating:-

A Kabolo Diesel stove feeds two radiators via a back boiler to the aft cabin. Bathroom radiator and Calorifier are served via the engine.

Flooring:-

Carpeted throughout in Honey Beige.

Gas:-

Gas Locker with padlock to bow with 2 x 12kg propane gas bottles.

BSC:-

The current Boat Safety Certificate expires in March 2005.

Paintwork:-

Externally repainted to a high standard by Andy Russell in very traditional and bright colours, red panels against a green background and highlighted by a yellow coachline.
