The 2004 Spring Bank Holiday, as far as many members were concerned, commenced on Friday 28th May when boats started to arrive at Whiteley Green for the annual event. Over the  weekend a total of 40 boats or so arrived to take part in what turned out to be a glorious weekend of sunshine, revelry and entertainment.

Saturday evening's entertainment was provided by the excellent Bitter & Twisted consisting of Roy Pickford, Ian Bruce and Steve Hindson - a mixture of traditional, folk and rebel music.  On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed the main BBQ with bar, refreshments, stalls and games. In the evening live entertainment was provided by members giving their renditions of classic songs.

Many thanks to all those who attended, helped setup, organise and eventually dismantle the event with a special thanks to Edna Roberts, the Commodore.
